Harp Lessons

Musician and teacher

I teach and play the harp, with about 16 years of experience teaching and performing. My expertise is in expressing the feeling that lives in the moment through playing. I teach students of every level, from beginners who want to get to know the instrument to experienced musicians who want to develop their improvisation.

I play a wide repertoire of styles and tunes, and love to mix them: Celtic and Irish Music, Turkish and Middle Eastern Makam, Hebrew and Jewish Roots Music, Folk, Rock and Contemporary Music, all the way to Progressive and Experimental Music.

A personal approach for every student

Each lesson is shaped around the player's level and goals. We'll work on basic and advanced technique, playing by ear or from sheet music, chords, rhythm, music theory, improvisation and, above all, expressing your own feelings through the music. I combine hands-on practice with an understanding of the theory, with a focus on finding each student's own musical voice. And most important: enjoying playing and learning!

Lessons are in person in Pardes Hanna-Karkur, Israel, or online over Zoom or Google Meet, in English or Hebrew.

Rent a harp

Starting out and want to try before you buy? I rent out quality harps for beginners and advanced players. It's a great way to start learning without buying an instrument right away, or to try different models before choosing your own. The harps are well maintained and suited to lessons and daily practice.
